Heart palpitations and anxiety are signs of perimenopause, which we start in our mid 30’s

I have SVT… you should look it up and I had the same issues with my cardiologist. It runs in my family. It’s called super ventricular tachycardia. It sounds exactly what I have. Advocate for yourself. My palpitations start a lot when I’m exercising so a stress test is a must in my opinion. I did the heart monitor. You could see a little bit of my palpitations, but not much and they rarely would show up on the EKG. It’s like when you go to the doctor because somethings wrong your body acts fine lol but I would look into SVT. It sounds just like what I have.

Babygirl, talk to the heart doctor you're going to. Let them know that you don't have insurance. And you are having a hard time with life right now. Talk to the doctor not the nurse or the front desk. Some doctors will actually help you with seeing them if they know personally. And if you have to go to a hospital, ask them if they have a program that helps with your bills. I live in Virginia and our big hospital is Carillon and I had a couple surgeries and they have a program called charity care and without it I couldn't have had the surgery. And the good thing about Carillon is it's a whole network of all kinds of doctors and everything Carillon is taken care of. I'm praying you find the help you need. I know you're scared and I'm scared for you. Good luck sweet baby I'm praying so hard.

Perimenopause can cause all of those symptoms. I know from experience. Most doctors know nothing about perimenopause. Good luck lady ❤️

This may be a silly question, but why don’t you go straight to a heart specialist and request the tests you wonder why the rest of hospital personnel haven’t done? What happens to you sounds scary, but you’re your best advocate. I pray you get the right answer and treatment.

I had it really bad when I started going into perimenopause. They said I was low on magnesium and my electrolytes were off. Potassium helps too. When I started getting my magnesium and potassium and electrolytes in it almost went away completely. I still have them when I have gotten dehydrated. It’s scary going through that.

So I have the same thing they told me that it was anxiety, but I think it has a lot to do with our hormones as women in our late 30s and 40s

Go to the emergency room and you apply for charity care and you tell them that you’re not leaving until you know what’s going on because you feel exhausted. You gotta apply for charity care downstairs at the hospital after you’re finished with being seen by a doctor at the emergency room.
