1. I would have reminded that pharmacist he is not a MD, it is not his place to tell the MD ANYTHING pertaining to my medical care. He is ONLY within his right to ask if the MD prescribed it.....period. I would have told him i had everything recorded, im calling corporate and then im calling my lawyer.

cvs would not fill any prescriptions from my doctor, they didn't like his treatment of some patients. I no longer use CVS.

I stopped going to CVS years ago. Grocery stores are better. My insurance partnered with CVS. But my RX would take two weeks. They never answered the phone. The wait times were always ridiculous. I go to Fry’s now. I’ve never waited more than 4 minutes. Never had a problem with RXs.

I had a pharmacist tell me he wouldn’t fill my script anymore because of my address on my dl. Same state. It was in the town I am from and have had the script filled there off and on for years when I am visiting my parents. I’ve been on the same script for 13yrs.

My son had major surgery and because insurance hadn’t done the approval yet Cvs would not sell me the medication. The doctor wrote me a new script for my son and we had to take it to Meijers until insurance started approving it. Cvs said they had a contract that they weren’t allowed to fill if insurance doesn’t pay.

A pharmacist has a doctors degree. It is their duty to make sure your mix of prescriptions are not harmful. They can make suggestions, that’s why they ask you if you have any questions. However they cannot diagnose you nor not take cash.

I had a cvs pharmacist question me about receiving a script for oxy when I was literally FRESH from surgery. I had JUST been discharged from the hospital not even 10 minutes before I arrived and I had to sit there for 30 minutes explaining to him that I had JUST had my gallbladder removed, and the oxy was prescribed for pain management during my recovery. He then went on to ridicule me for getting the prescription filled because I am breastfeeding and it isn’t safe for my baby (I had milk pumped and stored at home in my deep freeze specifically for this reason). I cried my whole way home after that because I was in so much pain and standing there for 30 minutes arguing with this dude was mentally draining

I had a CVS pharmacist refused to fill my prescriptions without a letter for my doctor detailing the medical necessity for them. Needless to say, I changed pharmacies.

That's why I stopped going to Walgreens. They may be doctor's of pharmacology, but they are not medical doctors. My pharmacist tried to question my long acting pain meds for MS and my doctor lit in to him! Problem solved💯💯💯
