Whether its a family event, a party, or youre going a walk, take your camera everywhere to experiment with different environments and styles 📸 2. Learn it before you earn it. Dont buy a £3000 camera if you dont know how to use light to your advantage and compose a photo properly 💡 3. Get off of Auto. Now. Learn how aperture, shutter speed and ISO work together and your skills will elevate immediately ⚙️ 4. Back up EVERYTHING. The moment you lose a once in a lifetime shot because you didnt store your photos properly will be like the end of the world. Keep copies on your computer, use an external drive, keep it simple and organised ☁️ 5. Shoot for you. Dont do what you saw someone do once on Tiktok just for the sake of views, do whats accessible to you and you enjoy ❤️ 6. Dont compare your beginning to someone elses middle. I used to do this every single time I posted, but then I realised im comparing myself to photographers with years of experience.
