⛓️💥🥀🖤Taes🖤🥀⛓️💥 :
I remember when I called my Grandma who lived 3hrs away (she pretty much raised me). I was 27 and it was WELL known I may never have kids strictly by choice for a variety of reasons. She cried on the phone. She immediately spent the entire near 10months trying to find somewhere to live in my town. Completely uprooting her life. She got hotel/motels 5 different times during my pregnancy to check out places. She found one, managed to MOVE IN the week before I gave birth and helped me nest/deep clean my entire house that week. Literally that last day when we BOTH decided “the house is finally ready”. I wasn’t due for 2 weeks. I kid you not, I lost my plug 2 hours after she left and had my oldest child the next day 😂 my body relaxed knowing my Grandma was here and my home was ready and “POP” came baby 😂 4yrs later, I had my youngest only 19mo after my oldest. She calls me begging every week to watch them. Saying “I came here for a reason, you better give me my babies that came from my baby” 😂💚 she truly is my only support system outside of our household. She drives me wild, she’s a bit… of a handful herself. But she’s an amazing woman who has always loved and sacrificed for those she loves. Always. And I’m the main one she’s always loved the most surprisingly. Her health isn’t the best nowadays and I tell her the main reason I don’t ask is because I feel bad. She says “having your girls here reminds me of the best years of my life, when I got to help raise you. Don’t take that away from me”. Which solidified I never will. She’s not so poorly she can’t do it at all (albeit hard for her) and she swore to me she’d tell me if at minimum she needed me present and not to be alone. I do trust that she actually would admit that, but only to me. My crazy, neurotic grandmother with a heart of gold and highly likely my own future 😂 my husband mentions he has a feeling I’ll be like her because I already show baby signs at 32 😂
