This captures the scale of everything so much better. The size of everything. This looks awesome. The ships don’t look very big in the current anime and you can’t really appreciate the true size from the manga. This has captured the scaling from the manga. So well done.

As someone who actually really liked the old animation and found it to be extremely charming, I’m excited to have something to watch while we wait for the new episodes to drop. I’m hoping that this new art style still captures the goofiness of the early seasons.
