Spectrums customer service is genuinely the worst of its kind, it took me over 20 minutes to cancel my service after the customer service rep was being overly pushy trying to upsell me truly so aggravating, asking me the names of who moved into my apt, asking me how much the person I moved in with is paying now for internet, every time I told them I did not want to be upsold and just want to cancel my service they would get even more rude and pushy

hi! Previous employee here and it's all a scam I worked retention and our job was supposed to be shutting down accounts but no they get mad at us for shutting down accounts as we are supposed to and get fired for not offering mobile or not showing that we tried to save an account of our call with a customer is less than 15min and we alr cut the account per customer request we get told we are not doing our job and are not caring in saving the customer or at least didn't try to upsell the customer so we get fired. never looked back from this job it horrible. if you give the customer whatever they want that's considered a firable offense since we didn't try to save the customer or upsell in any way or upgrade.
