@iamsophiaor9: What kind of summer do you enjoy? Beach summer? Hot girl summer? Personally, I love spending my summers with mystery and thriller stories. They're the perfect way to cool down during the hottest months. One of the shows that inspired me is Gravity Falls! So, to celebrate Summerween, I decided to have a little movie and show marathon. Of course, I absolutely love autumn and Halloween, and I watch plenty of spooky movies and shows during that season too. But I want to enjoy summer as summer, so I specifically looked for thrillers set during the summertime that still capture those Summerween vibes. My favorite Summerween stories usually have a few things in common : a summer setting, mysterious events, a thriller or mystery vibe, and a group of friends at the center of the story. Here are some movies and shows I've watched recently and would recommend → - It (2017) (My all-time favorite) - Stranger Things Season 3 (2019) - Fear Street Part Two: 1978 (2021) (The story wasn't my style, but I LOVE summer camp vibe, so...) - Summer of 84 (2018) - Hyouka (2012) - Gravity Falls (2012-2016) - I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) - Stand by Me (1986) On a separate note, I recently watched "Widow's Bay", and I can't recommend it enough!!!
