What if you have a child arrangement order for 50/50 and the dad decides he doesn’t want to have 50/50 shared time anymore and only wants every other weekend?

can I ask about the taking the children abroad i didnt relise this was a thing we have a holiday in 2 weeks and now im worried I dont have his permission but their is alot more to it. their dad is on bail and not aloud near me his contact is supervised but its very inconsistent. there is no way he will give consent what do I do??

I think most of us can all agree the Family Court System is useless for both parents and children involved. It’s outdated, lacks common sense and can’t keep up.l or act on changing circumstances and patterns. The guidelines may look pretty on paper but in practice the flaws are evident.

The contact one is actually wrong because if your child is of a certain age to think for themselves and tells you they don’t want to go then they don’t have to go then yes you can refuse contact with a explanation

i hate the first one. when i was younger i was meant to go to france with my mum and her boyfriend and my dad wouldnt give permission (ive never lived with him and havent seen him since i was 3)

I’m a qualified solicitor and I am very confused about the apparently “illegality” of “showing court documents to friends and family”. I’m not sure which documents she means, or how this is “illegal” but if there is a basis to that point at all, it certainly needs to be clarified and there will be substantial caveats. I think this point is made with such brevity that it is broadly incoherent.
