I recommend looking at pet insurance as well! I pay $70 a month for my two cats ($35 each). It has saved us LOTS of money when inevitable emergencies have arisen and they reimburse us for darn near everything once the deductible ($250 each cat) is met.

Go on the Walmart app and look up cat trees- they are always on crazy sale. Cats are relatively easy as far as yearly maintenance 😂❤️I use the breeze litter boxes and love them! Very easy for my daughter to help as well.

Just remember to budget for annual vet visits they are necessary! ❤️And the kittens may need a FVRCP booster, depending on their age and what they got at the vet, which would be worthwhile to get while they’re still in their booster window, hopefully

It’s say oh well! We only live once and best to be younger and do it. I have 2 adult cats, 1 dog, & just got a kitten. I have 7.7k in debt but I have no: school, car, or loan debt. So that helps. But still trying to pay off my Apple Card!

Do not even for a second let anyone question or make you feel bad for the kittens. Your daughter is young and growing up with cats are the best. Plus it brings her and you happiness so there’s nothing wrong with that!! Just because you’re saving doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have pieces of joy. ❤️

My cats also have a wellness insurance plan through AAA and it’s like 15/month I believe. It reimburses for routine vet visits, vaccines, etc

I love Pet Supplies Plus. If you have one near you they have a really nice rewards system and about twice a year they have like a cat month and I get my litter and food for bogo and add the rewards and get great deals!

I don't know where you live but a lot of larger cities have pet food banks! if there's a human food bank near you, maybe give them a ring and ask about pet food.
