Why would politics matter in ur private life? Is a congress member or house member or the presidency gonna stop you from having a family? Or starting a new job? Or from celebrating the country you were born in? Politics is a popularity contest nothing more. Stop giving it so much of your attention. You’re only fueling the fire. Just live. We all have about 70yrs on this planet if we’re absolutely lucky! Focus on what’s in front of you instead of social media and tv. Work/live/die no one’s gonna do any of those for you.

If you have to guess probably best to just walk away. If you ask he will tell you what you want to hear, watch his actions does he hold the door for more than just you? Interactions with babies are great test, does he interact with the baby when the baby looks at him, mom struggling with something offers assistance not a solution.
