I am so impressed with the navigation of this conversation. The manager was trying to strong arm the position in the phone call. You stayed focused and successfully worded your questions to further the intended goal by not ignoring the question…you immediately reframed the question with intention to allow management to slowly acknowledge the error of managements thinking with out demeaning management. Kudos! Well Done!

didn't know 'will return to the exact same working space' was a guaranteed right after leave... thought your having a job and pay rate were protected, but working space is too? and job duties? they can't reassign job duties? interesting...

That's more confusing because he's saying that they're supposed to be sharing in office but all of her stuff was taken out of the office and she doesn't have a desk and her chair that she paid for is missing. what actually happened is they hired someone and that person took over her office and they didn't think about where she was supposed to go when she came back. them saying that they could reduce her job duties is a clear sign that they were hoping she didn't come back from maternity leave.

Doesn’t make sense. She is the only one that lost her office space, moved into a cubicle (if I am understanding correctly), but now there is another person also doing payroll, so they sit together in a cubicle? Or they share an office now? Whatever it was, she definitely was not informed. Seems very targeted to me.

Did I miss something on the first video when she called in bc I think I remember her saying she had no desk or space at all to go to when she came back right? That she had to set up a space in the break room? Did I get that wrong?
