I hate that they can double and triple taxes because they taxes on the money we earned before we even get the money and then if we put it in a bank account then tax us again? That’s insanity

I won't argue with people about taxes on a HYSA. Say I earned $1000 on my HYSA and paid $200 in taxes. I still have $800 of passive income

The point of a hysa is to stave off inflation. It’s meant to keep emergency funds in. Stay readily available with no risk while not losing spending power
