I can check my BP at home, and it will be close to 120/80 most of the time. Everytime I go to the doctor, it’s like 140/90

Every. Single. Time. My whole life. My current dr. let’s me lay down with lights off before taking my BP if first reading is (predictably) high. I even get nervous at home. Thanks for this tip.

That’s me. White coat syndrome. So I take it at home and that’s what I bring into the doctor and it’s always quite a bit lower than the office visit.

I’m the opposite, my bp is usually on the lower side every time I see my doc. However, every time I go to the dentist it’s high and they always tell me I need to get checked and just tell them that I don’t have hypertension I have dentistension😂😂😂

this has been my problem so high on Dr office but normal at home I even brought 25 hour bp monitoring and it was normal. the fact I see bp makes me scared

I do suffer white coat syndrome years ago They put me on high blood pressure medication. It was horrible. I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t even push a cart in the grocery store!!

Yup. Happened to me. I was panicking and my blood pressure was sky high in my twenties and healthy. Doctor knew and had a chat for a while and took it again in the middle of a funny story and it was perfect

my blood pressure is always low. Less than 100 usually always the highest it’s been when i’ve been to the doctor is 120. Last time I got it checked it was 98/67
