I told my son you have a few easy options - I like your shirt, shoes, haircut or tell them they are really good at whatever they’re doing - he’s only 9 and the amount of kids that call my son a friend is beautiful! He’s so kind, outgoing, and always protects the kids getting bullied - if you’re nice and like to play, he’ll be your friend

In my days the popular ones were the mean ones. Hope times changed

I was always kind and complimentary yet it never made me popular. I do think it help like me as a person but not popular and Im ok with that because alot of "popular" people were mean.

I really appreciate your page. I have a 10-year-old with ADHD and being able to read social cues and having social awareness is something we are consistently working on. I’m so glad I came across your channel!

This is super true, when I went to a new high school not in my area no one knew me but i became friends with everyone even the ones people called nerds, rockers, and I was in sports… my best friends where breakdancers,I did not discriminate, I genuinely loved everyone, and cheered them and somehow they voted me prom queen at this high school that was new to me… never be a bully, always have compassion 🥰

Love this. I was reminded of our eldest daughter when you were talking about London. Since she was a small child she would always compliment adults and kids when we would be out at stores. As she got older, she’s a rising 6th grader, she also began to advocate for kids that were being bullied. God actually told us before she was born that she would be one that stood up against injustice in whatever form so we gave her the middle name Justice. I’ve been gaining so many helpful tips from you, since our girl is starting middle school this year. Thanks so much.

As a mum of 2 girls I love your content! I’m embarrassed to say I was sometimes a mean girl as a teenager and I’ll do everything to make sure my girls are not like that

This!! I went around in my own world and was always too afraid to talk to people and ask them about their lives! I didn’t wake up until college about this and finally started making friends.

I try to model behaviors like this daily when I drop off and pick up my kids at daycare. As well as holding the door for everyone, saying good morning to the people we pass, finding a reason to compliment someone. I’m gonna start adding questions about others now - such a great idea!
