@alphaclubclinic: Replying to @dean rids “Can I donate blood if I’m self-prescribing TRT?” Technically, the testosterone isn’t the issue. If you’re prescribed TRT through a clinic, you can usually donate without a problem. The issue is that if you tell the blood service you’re using non-prescribed testosterone, they may defer you because they have to assess the risk around unregulated medications and potential needle-sharing. Personally, I think it’s a bit of an odd one because every donation is heavily screened, and I’ve never met a TRT user who shares needles. But those are the rules. And just to be crystal clear, I’m not advocating misleading the NHS or any blood donation service. Always answer their questions honestly and let them make the decision. 💉 TRT isn’t automatically a barrier. 📋 Self-prescribing can be. It’s because you guarantee where your gear came from and how it was prepared before you receive it. Compared to prescribed TRT which is strictly controlled in manufacturing and prescription

They test it, likely hood you don’t have blood born virus’ if you’re using proper injection protocol and decent quality gear so they use it, ngl I’ve donated when on a course, they sent an email a few months later saying ‘7 year old Lila might have had your blood and is doing well’… I was like too right she is she’s on anadrol 😂
