she’s a lovely skater and performer but nah there are a lot of biomechanically better figure skaters than liu. her technical scores aren’t even the best in her field.

alysa liu is a rare talent but this shouldve easily gone to kamila valieva 😭😭😭😭 272 world record and a dsq 283, she bulldozed literally everyone and has held every combined record since 2021, she beat alysa liu in 2020 junior worlds (2021 cancelled for covid) and 2022 olympics, she is so incredibly hypermobile compared to every other elite skater and NOBODY else uses her rotation position. every other elite women’s rippon is rounded, but kamilas is IN the axis of rotation, and she has done the only rippon 3a. there will never be another kamila valieva

Alyssa is not...I love her...she is a beautiful skater and no doubt a skating prodigy but she is not even the most dominant skater currently competing....much less one of the most dominant in womens sports lol. Female skaters like Yuna Kim exsisted btw.... The most dominant skater currently active competitively is without a doubt Ilia Malinin and he is obviously not female lol

no way she’s a good example for this. alysa is a nice skater and brings charm to the ice, which figure skating lacks these days, but she is far from technically superior in comparison to her opponents

no saying I completely disagree but I completely disagree, dont get me wrong Alysa is good but if she is 4th then the rest of this list is just figure skaters, if we look at technicality scores and careers there are so much better figure skaters better than her, example A is Trusova beijing 2022 olympic program being the hardest most technical difficult program the entire tournament, even more than the mens gold medalist that year, is Trusova the best biomechanical superior female athlete?

im a fan of Alysa, but no. She isn't even in top 10. The russians, japanese, and korean skaters are way more biomechanically better than her
