Asalama aleykum sister. A better example for when the word ضرب ، da-ra-ba ، is used for other than to "strike" is for example in surah 18:11. It says that Allah SWT caused the people of the cave to fall asleep, using the exact same root word, ضرب 🤣🤣 So the question is, did Allah SWT beat them unconscious? or did he simply cause them to sleep? 🤣🤣🤣
