I think the reason most people do old roblox for ARGs instead of modern roblox is because I guess some may think it's scary to see that something you feel nostalgic over has been turned into some kind of evil, scary looking thing, also modern roblox just doesn't have the right potential cause it's too realistic now for it to be perceived as scary. cause like imagine some high res typa monster pulling up on you in 2011 vs 2026. huge difference, right? you don't expect a high quality looking monster in a game like roblox in like 2011 because of how low quality it is, but 2026 roblox would be expected more due to what roblox looks like nowadays. also roblox back then was considered way more lighthearted, so imagine the effect if you added realistic horror into a low quality, lighthearted game. it's lowkey terrifying
