@cadaea: GTA VI is locking a fair bit of a content behind the more expensive Ultimate Edition of the game. That content includes side missions, retailers, vehicles, weapons, etc. It's also been confirmed that the physical version of the game will indeed just be a redeemable code inside a box.

if something is ready at launch, its not DLC, its greed by the company. Hell there was a time where DLC was new and some companies gave it out for free. Any dlc released within 6 months if launch should be free as clearly they were working on it before launch.
