maybe try a different face wash or moisturizer. it could also be oil from hair or something clogging up pores

It could be from hair or a hat that needs to be more frequently washed, especially if you’ve been sweating more in the heat!

It can be hair grease or products you use on your hair (not a dermatologist lol) I suffer from acne also, so that had happened to me before!

Honestly might be that ur using stuff that’s way too harsh and causing ur skin to get really irritated. I’m Korean and can’t even use Korean skincare sometimes cuz I react so poorly to active ingredients! I’d try a gentler face wash like vanicream or even like a jojoba oil to cleanse (I use the one from Trader Joe’s lmao) and avoid exfoliating.

Try PanOxyl or a face wash that contains benzoyl peroxide!! Use light weight moisturizer because thicker moisturizer may clog your pores!

hats can also cause this! esp if you wear them often and don’t clean them. my brother used to get bad flare ups too until he started cleaning them. I would also look into what hair products are being used and how often you clean your hair, sweat and oils can make it worse.

I also have been trying to find my ultimate skincare routine and after years of trying different products, I came to the conclusion that Korean products just don’t work on my skin so after sticking to American products such as La roche posey or Olay, my skin cleared up so so much. Also definitely try to not use stuff with niacinamide for a bit until your skin clears up. You can also try Japanese skin products as well because i learned that Korean skincare tends to have a lot of hydrating products that cause breakouts. When I started my journey to clean skin I also tried out this mud soap bar which was recommended from my aunt and I only used it at night. It definitely helped cleared my skin because it was more natural. Overall patience is really the key and im currently helping my boyfriend who’s going through the same problem and my current product that I’ve been having him use is la roche posey face wash, haruharu wonders toner and lastly olays vitamin c. Only three products which has been working pretty well for his skin!!

I would say like everyone else in the comments it’s hair products, dirty pillows, hats hypochlorous acid on hats when u don’t got time to wash em, and washing pillows regularly, also if ur forehead is more oily than rest of face using lighter moisturiser, and keeping skincare products to a minimum!, gentle cleanser, using a retinoid or treatment, then moisturiser/ light serum cocokind, naturium, ask gf! and then a light spf Korean ones are perfect 🙏

change out your pillowcases regularly, try to not touch your face, oil control serum, adapalene worked really well for me! or you can go to a derm and get something stronger like accutane.

Trust me i just had the same issue. Realized ive been sweating on my head/forehead in the hot summer and continuing on with the day. Easiest fix: use panoxyl to kill bacteria in your routine and while youre out take a biore wipe or face wipe with you and use it if you sweat and cant wash your face immediately wipe. It makes the BIGGEST difference and should clear up :)

I feel like everytime I start doing acne skincare and stuff I break out even more. It’s like the storm before the calm I would say. That’s like the best way I could put it

I used to have acne too and I used a lot of skincare but nothing worked, what I did was going to the dermatologist, I got antibiotics and I now use a cetaphil pro ac dermacontrol cleanser, a little of benzolium peroxide on the pimples or spots where I have acne and a lotion I think the name is Avène cicalfate+. Now I have almost recovered (?) from acne, I only have some scars but nothing notorious BUT I keep using those products

Kelly!! Vanicream face wash OR avene cleanance face wash, panoxyl benzoyl peroxide 4% face wash (let sit on skin for 1min), avene cicalfete. On days my acne is bad I add avene cleanance before the cream. I hope this helps!!!

Chat it may be your hat but also if you add things to ur routine ur skins not used to it so it freaks out when i go through a transition period from one facewash to the other also you may have to use an oil free face wash and moisturizer

also, since you are trying out new products. that might be the cause as well. some products can cause breakouts. my friend who has never had any breakouts in her life tried new skincare products, and she had such a bad breakout :(

Advice from someone that cleared my skin without going to a dermatologist! Do some research on your skin type and go from there with your products, also sometimes less is more! I noticed my skin stopped breaking out when I was using minimal products and stayed consistent with the same thing. Switching up the routine too much can make it worse, hope this helps! Also 💗 u Ashley

simplify your routine and add targeted products! add adapalene gel and azelaic acid to target the acne, inflammation, and redness and incorporate a benzoyl peroxide face wash a few times a week and let it sit for about a minute before washing off

For me I was using the wrong products, stuff that dried my skin out and causing acne. Keep it simple with cetaphil and I’m fine. Make sure I shower or wash my face after sweating a ton. Can also be flare up with the change in weather conditions recently?
