@healthbyroman: My weird injection trick that nobody taught me. After cleaning the area and letting it fully dry, I’ll gently touch the the skin before inserting it. If a particular spot feels unusually sensitive, I’ll move slightly and find an area that’s a little more comfortable. Is this something I do on patients? NO!!. It’s simply a technique I’ve found helpful for my own at home use. Everyone’s body is different, but sometimes moving a few millimeters can make a surprising difference in comfort. Yes I do this. I’ve found that the areas that are more sensitive bruise pretty bad and turn dark. I think for me, I’m hitting veins when in those spots. When I find areas that feel like nothing, I don’t bruise or welt. 😁
