🧿Liz🧿 :
Sometimes I wish there was a way for women to anonymously tell other women:
Get out of other people's relationships.
Go build your own.
I know of a woman who's knowingly sleeping with married men, even meeting some of them in hotels. The part that gets me is she's a teacher, someone trusted to work with children.
I can't help but think, if you're willing to knowingly deceive, lie, and help destroy relationships and families in your personal life, what does that say about your character?
She's not just having an affair. She's helping destroy families. There are partners who are betrayed, children who can be affected, and lives that are changed because of choices like that. Those consequences don't just disappear because people choose not to talk about them.
I wish someone could tell her to stop, get help, and take a hard look at the damage she's causing.
Not because I believe public shaming fixes people, but because I wish there were more accountability for people who knowingly participate in hurting others.
Unfortunately, I can't get involved. It could come back on me, affect my work, and create problems I don't need.
So I stay out of it.
But I do wish there were more people willing to tell someone the truth instead of staying silent while they keep helping destroy other people's families.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say to someone is:
"This isn't okay. Stop hurting people."
