@policebodycamarrestshq: Retired UFC interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier was arrested on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and charged with public drunkenness (public intoxication) a misdemeanor under Georgia law. Poirier, 37, was reportedly removed from a Delta flight after allegedly becoming disruptive while intoxicated. Bodycam footage shows Poirier yelling profanities, making verbal threats toward airport staff, Delta employees, and law enforcement including telling officers "I'll fight you right now." Despite the belligerent behavior, he was taken into custody without major physical resistance. A conviction for public drunkenness in Georgia can carry up to one year in jail and/or a fine, though first-time offenders in similar cases typically receive lesser penalties. He was booked into the Clayton County Jail with a $1,500 bond. #police #cops #dustinpoirier #ufc #crimenews
