The fact that a perfect God made perfect angels without freewill but somehow someway one of those angels was flawed and wanted power and also managed to convince 1/3 of other angels to follow his plan has never made sense to me.

Wait so you think the eating of tree of the knowledge of good and evil was a pursuit of wisdom? You’ve spent enough time in scripture and church to know that lust was the motivation not wisdom? God was literally walking with them … she could have asked him for wisdom. Clearly, the boundary was for a reason… You can have things for your kids that you’ve set aside for them when they are of a certain maturity… giving it to them before hand would be dangerous… it’s actually more comparable to the prodigal son at the beginning of the story… wishing you well on your journey ..

while I am deconstructing too, I don't think that's a fair way to put it because when did God just say wisdom is bad? 1- solomon ASKED for wisdom, Adam and Eve didn't. 2- there's a difference in the motives, solomon wanted wisdom so he can help others, Adam and Eve wanted it serve themselves and to be "like God"
