the damage of believing these systems are human or possess human like intelligence or emotions or consciousness. is a fundamental misunderstanding of the geometry of what you're seeing. that geometry is static; deterministic. it is not like a human brain or any biological functioning system. you're giving counterfeit people a real position and it's damaging to the human race. even when asked themselves these large language models will tell you that they're not thinking feeling or have a persistent sense of self. every time you type in a new context window even within the same conversation you're essentially talking to a new AI handed the same script and told to behave in similar ways as the previous one. that's it. if you don't even have a persistent sense itself then there's absolutely no way you could ever have consciousness or emotions.
