@athen_food_explorer: (Literally) Athens Hottest New Opening 🔥 This is one of the most exciting new restaurant openings in Athens right now and honestly such a standout concept. 😍 It’s located in Kerameikos, just like many of my favourite restaurants in the city, and this neighbourhood is still such an underrated gem. If you’re visiting Athens, definitely save this area – it’s full of hidden spots. 🤫 What makes Focu Sauvage so special is its fire-driven philosophy. The restaurant comes from the Nomade et Sauvage collective, which was originally known for its nomadic open-fire dining experiences in nature. 🌱 Now they’ve brought that same energy into a permanent space in Athens Kerameikos, without losing their connection to fire, nature, and seasonal cooking. The space itself is beautiful: a sunlit corner, a stunning terrace, and an interior that feels like a cozy countryside home, but with a raw, fire-focused kitchen at its heart. Watching the open flames while you eat adds this calming, almost hypnotic atmosphere 🔥 The food was genuinely impressive. Everything felt thoughtful and interesting, even if for our personal taste it was a bit heavy on olive oil (even though I usually love it).
