September is a long wait. Read the book series, they are great. I suggest reading in chronological older: Magic Lessons (all about Maria Owens, in the 1600’s), The Rules of Magic (about the early years of Aunt Franny, Jet & brother Vincent), Practical Magic (little different than the movie), The Book of Magic (the continuation of the three generations of Owen’s) what this movie is based on.

They could have at least had continuity between the two films... The girls knew they were witches and they assisted in the spell, also the curse was broken with Sallys spell (one green eye one blue) and when they banished Jimmy...

here's the thing I just cannot seem to understand and maybe somebody who read the books could tell me.... Why would my ancestor who was so heartbroken curse ME to never fall in love. Don't get it twisted I love the first movie It's part of my soul but it's just rather strange that my heart broken ancestor would then curse my line to be heartbroken as well....

For everything saying “I thought they broke the curse” Sally could just be saying it like “we are witches” (like they know they are) but the kids never believed in the curse, when she says and “we are cursed” she is trying to empathize that the curse is in fact real.
