@journeyforjasmine: Before Monica and Jeff started their family together, Jeff and his ex-wife lost their daughter, Cellise, to SIDS when she was just 10 weeks old. Cellise would have turned 19 on February 27 and remains a beloved part of their family.  Monica and Jeff got married in January 2023 and soon became pregnant with their son, Noah. Aside from severe cramping early in pregnancy, everything appeared healthy. At 38 weeks, doctors noted Noah's femur was measuring small and recommended induction, but no clear explanation was given. At 41 weeks, Monica went into labor during a planned home birth. After complications, she was rushed to the hospital, where Noah was born and immediately transferred to the NICU. Specialists later discovered severe placental insufficiency had prevented enough oxygen and blood flow from reaching him. Monica and Jeff were told there was nothing they could have done differently, and that even an earlier induction would not have changed the outcome. After baptizing Noah and surrounding him with family and friends, Monica and Jeff made the heartbreaking decision to remove life support on May 18. Noah passed away peacefully in his mother's arms. In the midst of grieving Noah, Monica also experienced painful changes within her family relationships. Yet she and Jeff continued honoring their son every month on the 16th. Three months after Noah's passing, while preparing to release flowers in his memory, Monica discovered she was pregnant again. She gave birth to her rainbow baby, Sylene.
