I know you didn’t ask for advice but may I share some thoughts? You wanted to work on your codependency and learn more about yourself when you got separated. As someone who’s been in a similar situation, it might be really good for you to not jump straight into dating. Take your time, have fun, but you don’t have to dive into any relationship right now. Learn what Amy wants and needs, heal Amy, and love Amy so hard it doesn’t matter if a guy is in your life. You got this. Be gentle with yourself and maybe just be single for a bit! It’s pretty peaceful 😉❤️

If you have boundaries stick to them, but if you find that you are reacting to people based on your past relationships, tread lately. Find the sweet spot. The new people in your life, may not have the same intentions the old people did. It’s tricky out there, but you are so beautiful in anybody would be so lucky to spend time with you.

after I split up with my husband, I tried dating a little too soon and found myself not just being critical with them(which is great to be when finding a partner) but over the top suspicious, or even ghosting them and felt very unsafe and not super welcoming. after I healed more and got comfortable being alone it felt so much different. I now have a partner I would do it all over again for the chance of being lived by him. give yourself time and grace 💜
