As is tradition, London’s creative crowd gathered in Kensington Gardens for the unveiling of the 2026 Serpentine Pavilion and one of the most anticipated nights of the cultural calendar. Hosted by Michael R. Bloomberg, Bettina Korek and Hans Ulrich Obrist, alongside co-hosts Salma Hayek Pinault, Alfonso Cuarón and Alejandro González Iñárritu, the evening brought together leading names from art, fashion, architecture, business and technology. Guests explored Serpentine’s summer programme, including exhibitions by Cecily Brown and David Hockney, alongside special activations around this year’s Pavilion and Jesús Rafael Soto’s immersive installation Pénétrable BBL Jaune. At the heart of the celebration stood the 2026 Serpentine Pavilion by LANZA atelier, a striking structure of rhythmic brick columns that creates a dialogue between history, landscape and contemporary design.
