OB has a great history & legacy built by black people for black people. I think he just wanted exposure for the culture created there & to encourage and welcome more black ppl to join. Not elitism, or white superiority, rather he used language trying to be real about decorum and class especially with today’s “black culture”. To not acknowledge what agendas and standards are being pushed in media as “black culture” is more so the concern. But yes people act up everywhere - human nature, good/evil. & not to say elitism doesn’t exist there because it’s also everywhere even in places like Atlanta which is the black mecca

Yup! He doesn’t even know the definition of “black fatigue!” How he’s using it is how white ppl incorrectly use it! I’ve never heard a conversation like this amongst people who own homes out here! He went to visit once now he’s a gatekeeper! The jokes write themselves.

we deserve to have nice things . you’re right every culture / race has ppl who move crazy . but they also have places that exclude those groups . i agree that career types don’t equate to excellence. the closer you get to the top you realize that those ppl are often not superior. but there is a common culture amongst different socioeconomic backgrounds. i think he was just trying to reinforce the social norms there because if that isn’t your speed oak bluffs may not be for you . lastly i thought he was using black fatigue as it was originally intended to be used . no black fatigue to me meant a safe luxury vacation for blk ppl
