@sweetambscookies: To make a brush embroidered floral design, I start with a base layer of flood consistency royal icing and let it dry overnight. Then I pipe ruffled petals with stiff consistency royal icing (the consistency is so important here!) and use a slightly damp brush to bring the icing toward the center of the flower. I made these gorgeous green cookies as part of a bridal shower set last month. This color is @The Sugar Art, Inc. natural food coloring in Garden Sage with a little bit of Driftwood.
