they also completely removed any mention of claudia and made a point of mentioning the diaries being his(yes i know claudia is iwtv but they mention the diaries in qotd movie)

Aaliyah’s Akasha and some fantastic broody music choices made that movie palatable. Lestat was pationless and frozen and don’t even get me started on them making Magnus into Marius. Also justice for Akasha’s mate king Enkil…he never gets screen time 😌

I remember being so excited for the movie, keeping up with news about it, and then it came out and I was so disappointed. Only good thing about it was Aaliyah. Everything thing was miscast and wooden. I understand some story changes needed to be made for time but they butchered the book. They also killed off Pandora who is my favorite vampire 🥲
