Common types include grapheme-color (letters/numbers have colors), chromesthesia (sounds evoke colors), and spatial sequence (numbers/time mapped in space). I have several different types of synesthesia including: Grapheme-Color Synesthesia: One of the most common types, where letters, numbers, or words are perceived as inherently colored. Chromesthesia (Sound-to-Color): Sounds, such as music or voices, produce perceptions of color, shape, and movement. Spatial Sequence Synesthesia: Numerical sequences, months, or days of the week are perceived as having specific physical locations in 3D space around the person.
