These traffic lights originated in 2015 when Austria hosted the Eurovision Song Contest, and decided to make a statement about equality! They installed several traffic lights throughout the city showing couples instead of single figures. Some couples were a man and women, but others were two men or two women and feature little hearts. While these were supposed to be temporary, they became so beloved they are now permanent! The lights featured in this video are near Rathausplatz. Many consider these the worlds cutest traffic lights!
