I’m a stay at home mum, raising our daughter is my job. His job is a lorry driver. The house is both of our responsibility. Some days I cook tea some days he does. I went on a girls holiday last month no issue, he is now in Ibiza, no issues. We very rarely shout at each other. 10 years we have been together and I’m still smitten.

I’m fortunate that I don’t have to work, my partner provides for me and my daughter. I personally enjoy doing all the household stuff, and don’t get me wrong he is theeee most hands on dad ever xx

My partner will offer to help do things around the house, but I have ocd and if things are not done how I would do them, I have to do it again. Same if I didnt see it get done but was told he cleaned a room, I would still have to re do it as my brain will not believe its clean. I also actually enjoy cooking and cleaning. on my days off from work I would try to make a dinner from scratch, own sauces the lot

100% to sharing the household chores! He does all the cooking, food shopping and gardening, I’m quite happy to deep clean a bathroom on a Tuesday afternoon after I finish work 🤷🏼♀️I also deal with all the finances, which would probably be considered ‘backwards’, but it works for us. He’ll have to pry dressing our daughter out of my cold dead hands though, when I go away for work I lay out outfits because he hasn’t got a clue 😂 lucky to have such a dedicated and loving father to her though!

The first is wild, I gifted my partner a year’s worth of meals planned and cooked for his birthday. People were acting surprised like I wouldn’t do that anyway??

me and my fiancé have 3 children ages 6, 3 and 9 months and only thing ive never made him do (even though he does anyway) is wake him up when im doing night feeds. he often gets up and makes the baby a bottle ready for me or holds the baby for me to go for a wee but I always let him go back to sleep because hes up at 4.30/5am for work and im not. yes I've got school runs ect but I haven't got to be out of the house working from 5 till 5, but the minute he comes in he does bath and bed. he sometimes has them for me after work to come and nap because our 9 month old is an horrific sleeper. he only gets 1 day off on the weekend and he still gets up at 6am to have the baby and kids for me to get some sleep until 10.30/11am. we don't do 50/50 say im at 30% he will be at 70% ans vise versa we always match eachother and I think thats why we've been together since we was 16 and we are both now 30. you get what you put in xx
