I’m planning on writing my essay on how I used to skip to the very end of a book to see the very last sentence, and connect it to my desire to see how my life will turn out. But if I did that, I would miss out on the beautiful parts that make the story worth it in the end.

i wrote mine like my life was a clock. each grade representing a number (1-12), and as the clock gets closer to midnight im running out of time. but that the clock stricking 12 isn’t the sign of an ending but the start of a new day. that reaching “12” should be appreciated because it allows another chance to reach “12” again

is this a good college essay idea? my life is a blank piece of paper, and every core memory is a drawing. then i go through a rough period and stop drawing, replacing them with plain stickers because i don’t have the motivation anymore. as i heal, i start drawing again. does this make sense? 😭

I did mine on how the index of a book is the most overlooked part and how if we look back at our index we see the growth of ourselves as humans and how we arent just one moment here or one there but are all together chapters that end up making the book of our lives something to look back upon as beautiful groups of memories and time periods and experiences

okay this might sound crazy but what if i wrote about how fanfics genuinely changed my life, they’re just stupid little fake stories about anime characters but some of the writing and poetry i’ve read has stuck with me. i find it silly something so childish made such a big impact on how i view the world today.

I’m a girl, a woman, a daughter, niece, and a human being.” Then go and talk about how that statement made me feel, how I’m using it to grow not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. Along with how it helped me find out what I want to contribute to my future. Idk, I’m struggling 😭

what abt having no middle name?? growing up my friends and teachers would just give me theirs to use, and I want to use it as a metaphor of how I didn’t see myself as a worthy person without my friends or others expectations. this made me obsess over finding a middle name to escape other people pushing ideas of what I should be. i then realised i didn’t need one and can grow from the different middle names and ambitions given to me, and to see expectations as a gift, rather than a burden. I don’t know if this is too generic tho 😭

I am writing mine about math and how having math anxiety dyscalculia affected me through the years and how over the course of high school I learned how everyone learns differently and that that’s okay , it kinda aligns with my I chose my major bc I wna be a school psychologist (they work with kids like me) idk if that makes sense

Guys I need help making my idea whole💔 so I have a very unique French last name that NO ONE can ever pronounce correctly. I want to tie this into either the idea of assuming someone’s life story before you meet them (btw I had a horrid childhood) or the idea of conforming to your peers (I wanted to go into the medical field bc it was popular among my peers and it was easy for me, but then last minute decided I would rather be happy and go into music education which is my passion) (I like the first idea more but idk) IDK IF ITS POSSIBLE SOMEONE PLSSSS
