I work in restaurants. I don’t know what a work break is. I’ve done 16 hours with chewing bites of my food while making drinks because there’s no time to stop. And before anyone says “Order food while it’s slow.” The universe knows when you order your food and will send you 5 tables as soon as the food is ready to eat 🙃

I was actually talked about poorly behind my back at my last job because I would take my ONE 20 minute break on my 10 hour shift 😐 specifically because they thought it was weird that I wouldn’t just “eat while I work”
