Morning the death of a friendship is never easy. I want to be completely clear when I say that my former friend is not dead. I am crying because our friendship ended in an abrupt way and no one cares but me and her family. I did literally everything I could to help somebody in a vulnerable situation and for that person to throw it back at my face in a vulnerable time in my life was the biggest slap to my face that I have ever received. Just because you are a good person does not mean that you get to let people walk over you like a doormat. I refused to let that happen. I was terrified for safety for her, and she did not care. You can choose him day and day out, that is what your marriage vows say to do, but when they put you in an unsafe situation time and time again, where do you set boundaries? Ending this friendship was the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my entire life. I did not get on live tonight with the sole intention of sobbing hysterically. I hope she knows that I did not close the door completely and if she ever needs me, I will be there no questions asked. But there will be boundaries. As for her family, I love you all so much.
