food stamps are the most efficient and effective way to get people access to food. Food pantries are helpful but they have limited foods and it takes time waiting in line to get them. food stamps give people access to grocery stores.

Middle class should get snap too, because after we pay for 2-3k rent or mortgage, insurance, utilities etc if we don’t have any money we don’t eat because we get zero help but nobody seems to wanna talk about that

I haven’t worked in years and can’t cook for myself at the moment so food banks are basically useless and I’ve been living off of $293 a month on snacks and microwave meals… it’s rough out there

When my brother and I were kids, my mom went through some difficult mental health issues including agoraphobia. If not for food stamps and government cheese, my brother and I would have starved. She got better eventually and was able to return to work. These programs protect vulnerable ppl and children. I know there are those who abuse the system, but can't we disqualify the scammers and still help ppl who genuinely need it? Seniors? Disabled ppl? America, we can do better than this.

I personally know a family of children being raised by their 86 year old grandma who rely on the food they get from the food bank. Blessings to all the hands who give their time to get groceries to them each week.

Y'all, even if it's a couple of dollars, please donate to your local food bank. This is for those are ABLE to do it. Just think, if 2,000 people donate $2 that's $2,000 and the food bank can do a lot with that. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 God bless us all 🙏🙏🙏
