I'm autistic and had such bad sensory issues with my ballet tights in general. It took me very long to find tights I could cope with 😭 but the holes never actually bothered me at all, they're pretty unnoticeable. Honestly the seems at the toes are much worse (depending on the tights brand) but thee hole edges are generally very flat and slightly lift away from your arch anyways so it's ok

I wear convertible tights so much that when I had to wear non convertible ones for a show recently I felt extremely weird and uncomfortable. I was slipping around in my shoes. Convertible tights for life!!!

I wear convertible tights in drag so I can tape my ankles and toes and so I get more grip in heels

And back in the day, before these were widely available, we were having to cut up our tights and smush them into our slippers. The hole is much more convenient/easy to wear

Interesting, I never even thought about that. It was part of our uniform, so I was just like okay and it never bothered me. I would end up wearing them with street clothes too lol

im autistic and socks are a big problem for me, but for some reason these are perfectly fine for me. i feel them for a few seconds especially when ive been sweating for a few seconds, but as soon as i step onto my feet i dont feel them anymore

when these first came out they were more expensive. I just used to cut mine and sew the edges in thin thread to keep it from fraying 😁
