People think they’re owed children and a family. You’re not. We all want things in life. I want a unicorn. Will it happen? Likely not. You can want kids and not have them because it’s not the right decision. I know! It’s hard to accept that you can’t have what you want, but when the thing you want is a HUMAN, you have to think about what’s best for them, not you. And if you can’t provide what’s best, then you are not what’s best for a child. Being grown is having to accept that you don’t always get what you want in life, and that’s okay!

We can financially afford more than 2 kids. I can’t emotionally provide for more than 2 kids. I enjoy spending quality time with both kids and spending 1 on 1 time with each kid.

my parents really wanted 4 or 5 kids but stopped after 2 bc they knew they couldn't afford it. my mom has said it several times that raising the 2 she had was more important than hypothetical future kids.

I have two and I REFUSE to have another. I won’t be able to provide the life I want to another child. My kids do allllllllll the extracurriculars they want, band, dance, golf, football, basketball, baseball, gymnastics. We go on vacation once a year and spend as much money as we want. Christmas is LAVISH. I want my kids to look back on their childhood and see how good we made it. Another child and we wouldn’t be able to provide that lifestyle
