Guys, I also live in Asia where it's really fucking hot. But you need to think about how different locations are supposed to have different weathers! UK is supposed to be cold. Their houses aren't built to reject heat, it's built to take more heat because they're supposed to be a cold country. Similar to how in Asia we have so many air conditioning cause it's hot.

It’s so irritating seeing so many people in the comments not understand that 35 degrees in the UK is a lot different somewhere else. Humidity here is so much higher because the UK is an island and we pick up all the moisture coming across the Atlantic which makes the UK air too saturated so it stops our bodies from properly cooling down. Our homes are designed for cold weathers but because we are getting these heatwaves, our homes are trapping the heat from these heatwaves and not letting us cool down anywhere. The night isn’t any better as the temperature refuses to drop, not allowing us to cool down at night either. Come to the UK yourself during a heatwave if you think it’s not that bad.

Don’t worry us aussies have the same issue but for winter. Our houses are built poorly insulated so we freeze in winter.

People don’t understand it’s not a competition of who survives hotter temps 😭 A heatwave is an abnormal temperature for that region. A country used to 45°C has infrastructure built for it. a country that usually gets 20–25°C doesn’t. The same temperature can have very different impacts depending on what a place is adapted to

are these comments even listening to the video? It's not the temperature itself that's the problem, it's lack of infrastructure that can handle heat. Everything is made for temps under 5c, so obviously 35 is hot

why do some of you not get that the UK heat is HUMID. It makes you sticky and its muggy, this literally stops ur body from being able to cool down and regulate temperature because ur basically just breathing in sweaty stagnating air. Also the air cannot properly absorb the sweat
