Sweet gum balls/pods. I’ve tried everything, not even a mower picks them up. I have thousands of them in my yard. Mower just launches them across the yard instead of picking them up-even with a bag on the mower. Can you demonstrate with sweet gum pods & pinecones please

My grandfather back in the 70s had one of these that he hooked up to his riding mower, and then he added a string to it that when he stopped by the burn pile, my dad was running he could just pull the string empty the leaves and he was back at it. So where’s the fucking string! 😂
