Beach Town for sure, my great grand father Carl Ewald Grunsky worked for the government as a civil engineer, he sat on the barge and took measurements of both Santa Monica and San Pedro, determining SP was the better option for a deep water harbor. As he waited for the dredge and the measurements he sat and painted the harbor at SP. those water colors are in the San Pedro Historical Society, of I gave them to them for display.
