Grew up in a SUPER evangelical religion. Learning to “live like a man,” which let’s be honest, is just learning to live a single adult who is (mostly) functioning, has been a process. I didn’t really have anyone to be a mentor. The assumption was that I’d grow up, get married, have kids, have grandkids, love every second of it, and then die & go to heaven. Unlearning all of they, exploring who I REALLY am, and finding my way inthe world has been incredibly difficult but also absolutely AWESOME. I wouldn’t trade the struggles for anything. 🥰
