Thank you for sharing. I’m from Indiana. It is not surprising it was the first state to pass this. People really think it was so long ago. I think about my grandmother who was born in 1915 and think how radical it was for her to birth my Dad and his siblings during this time. It is maddening that we continue to be gaslit by this country.

It is wearing new clothes and they look like uterine fibroids being treated with a hysterectomy when a hysterectomy is not necessary. Hundreds of thousands of black women have had hysterectomies because of fibroids— they won’t have any children and these are young black women. I feel like that is a form of sterilization.
