puppy dog liner. idk if it's still called that but in the mid 2010s puppy dog liner was HUGE cos of how well it worked with deepset and hooded and monolids. swing down to your waterline rather than up, the opposite of a cat eye liner

I feel you, I have semi-hooded and deepset eyes, I just do a thin strait or downward eyeliner (pictured) bc fighting my hooded crease is exhausting

it's not *impossible*, but a lot of the advice people are going to give you is going to be absolutely useless. .y suggestions: get REALLY good at tight lining. you might have a better luck with a very narrow angled brush and gel liner and with a pencil or liquid. I would also go for a muted medium tone brown instead of black, any sort of smudged out baby Wing instead of a crisp longer wing. focus on the outer third-ish of your upper water line (basically from the point where it's starts curving downward) rather than doing the entire upper lash line. if you want to do a more dramatic look, use an eyeshadow pencil that's lighter than your eyeliner color and do a wash from the center corner out to the edge of the wing.

For really hooded eyes I’ve always found it’s better to think of doing your eye makeup bellow your eyes. Go straight out from the outer tear duct and connect that to the lowest point of the eye

Hello!! Also deep hooded eye person! A tip I have acquired from makeup professionals, is to never do the full eye for eyeliner you want to do the last quarter of your eye with eyeliner and a cats eye is usual recommended to elongate the eye! Then to emphasize shape do a thin line of eyeshadow on the bottom lid

Keep it under the fold, tight line your top water line (instead of doing normal top liner), and smudge into your bottom water line to make your eye look a bit lower for more room. I feel like my example is too low but you get the point lol
