Lost my dad 02/10/2017 and my mom 04/05/2026 and I just keep it all to myself. My husband can’t understand, he never met my dad and hasn’t lost a parent. They were MY parents and this grief is mine to bear. People talking about them is like a painful intrusion

Same💔😭 it has been 6yrs since my dad passed and I sob uncontrollably and can't catch my breath like it's the first time getting the call. I'll be at work and I'll start crying or on my walks listening to music hear a song and I'll start crying. Had to leave the grocery store today because a guy who walked by looked exactly like my dad and I started sobbing uncontrollably and didn't want to look like a crazy lady..lol..but I feel this deeply in my soul💔😭
