@manavpod: A fighter jet normally takes a decade to design. Anduril went from a blank sheet to first flight of Fury in 556 days. On June 17, the Air Force gave it a production contract alongside General Atomics. No joystick, no pilot, no remote control stick. Fury takes off, flies, and lands on its own while a human on the ground supervises. It has already carried a live AIM-120 missile in captive-carry tests. Anduril is the first new company to win a US fighter jet program since the 1970s. The Air Force wants 150 of these flying by 2030. Eventually, 1,000. #Anduril #Fury #DefenseTech
